Best quality mount I’ve ever had done. Superior quality and great time frame. Definitely recommend anyone looking for the best to have your mounts done here.

Flores did my first ever buck and big Black Bear. Both mounts look as good as the day he finished them.

About Me

MY NAME IS Ramiro Flores

I am retired Sergeant First Class Flores, Ramiro.  I enlisted in the Army in 1997.  I served on active duty for 20 years.  I am currently retired in Nampa, Idaho where I was born and raised.  I was a Ranger for 19 years and in the Sniper Community for 16 years of my military career.  During my career I was deployed overseas for a total of 3 years of combat.  I held positions of Special Operations Sniper, Sniper Team Leader, Ranger Fire Team Leader, Squad Leader, and as a Recon/Sniper Platoon Sergeant.

I deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan and have been on many many missions.  While deployed, I was awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Iraq/Afghanistan Campaign Medals and an Army Commendation Medal with Valor.  I have many training and peace time medals to add as well.

As a native of Idaho, I was brought up hunting and fishing. I love the outdoors and find it very therapeutic. I share that love of the outdoors with my daughter, who enjoys hiking Idaho’s beautiful mountains with me.

Spending most of my life in the Military, I found it hard to hunt as much as I wanted. This is one of the reasons I chose to pursue taxidermy. I love hearing people’s hunting stories and sharing their memories. As a taxidermist, it is an honor to preserve those memories and to do a great job for my customers. I take pride in preserving the memory of their long grueling harvest, and love watching their face light up when they first see their mounted trophy. Especially, first time hunters and kids!

During my final year in the service, I used my post 9/11 G.I. bill to attend taxidermy school in Montana and have been a taxidermist since 2015. One great thing about being a retired service member is that I don’t have to charge an arm and a leg. I do taxidermy because I love it not because I must. So, if there is ever an issue, just talk to me!
